KEA Round 1 NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2025 Out: Last Date to Modify Options is 29 July

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Round 1 NEET UG Counselling Schedule 2025 for admissions to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, BPT, BPO, Allied Health Sciences, B-Pharma, Pharm-D, Agriculture, and Veterinary courses. The mock seat allotment result was published on 25 July 2025, based on the options entered by eligible candidates up to 22 July.

Candidates can now modify, add, delete, or reorder their choices from 26 July (12:00 PM) to 29 July 2025 (5:00 PM). This is a one-time opportunity to update preferences before final seat allotment. Those who have not entered any options yet can still do so by paying Rs. 750.

The provisional seat allotment result for Round 1 will be declared on 1 August 2025, and the final allotment result will be published on 2 August 2025.

Allotment Letter & Reporting to College

Once allotted a seat, candidates must:

2.    Pay the admission fee as instructed

3.    Report to the allotted medical/dental college within the specified time

4.    Carry original documents for final verification at the college

5.    Confirm admission by completing institutional formalities

Failure to report within the given time may result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To participate in Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria set by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA):

General Eligibility

    The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    Must have qualified NEET UG 2025.

    Must be registered with KEA UGCET 2025 within the official registration window.

Eligibility for Government Quota Seats

1. Study-Based Eligibility

    Must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from recognized institutions located in Karnataka.

    Or, the candidate must have studied for a minimum of 7 years in recognized educational institutions in Karnataka.

2. Parental Study-Based Eligibility

    Candidate must have passed Class 11 and Class 12 from Karnataka.

    Either parent should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years.

3. Linguistic Minority Eligibility

    The candidate or one of the parents must have Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava as their mother tongue.

    The parent must be a domicile of Karnataka.

Eligibility for NRI/Management Quota Seats

    Must be NEET UG 2025 qualified.

    KEA registration is mandatory.

    Must provide valid documentary proof as per KEA and NMC guidelines.

Age Limit
