The Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the state quota seats in government, private, and minority medical and dental colleges across the state. KEA has released the UGNEET 2026 Round 1 seat allotment schedule. The Medical & Dental seat matrix was displayed on 7 August 2026. The provisional Round 1 UGNEET seat allotment result will be published on 19 August 2026 after 10:00 AM.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the UGNEET 2026 registration deadline to 30 July 2026. The extension is applicable to NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who have not yet completed the KEA UGNEET registration.
KEA will also activate a NEET Roll Number Linking Facility for candidates who had already registered through UGCET but need to link their NEET UG 2026 roll number before counselling.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
- Must be registered with KEA UGCET 2026 within the official registration window.
Eligibility for Government Quota Seats
- Study-Based Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from recognized institutions located in Karnataka.
- Or, the candidate must have studied for a minimum of 7 years in recognized educational institutions in Karnataka.
- Parental Study-Based Eligibility
- Candidate must have passed Class 11 and Class 12 from Karnataka.
- Either parent should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years.
