About the College

K.M. Shah Dental College and Hospital (KMSDCH), Vadodara, was established in 1999-2000 and holds the distinction of being the first private dental college in Gujarat. It's a constituent college of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), located at Piparia, Waghodia, in Vadodara district.

The college is recognised by the Dental Council of India and is part of a larger multidisciplinary campus that also includes medical, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and nursing colleges. The dental hospital itself is substantial - 300+ advanced dental chairs, round-the-clock emergency treatment, and access to a 1,300-bed tertiary care hospital within the same campus for comprehensive clinical training.

Since KMSDCH is a deemed university college, BDS admission goes through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), not Gujarat state counselling. Seats are offered under All India Quota / Deemed University quota, along with Management, JM (minority quota), and NRI categories.
