LNAT UK
The Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) is an international undergraduate law admissions test used primarily by leading universities in the United Kingdom to assess applicants for LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and other undergraduate law programs.
LNAT is designed to evaluate a student's aptitude for studying law, rather than their knowledge of legal subjects. It focuses on reasoning ability, reading comprehension, argument analysis, and written communication skills.
The LNAT is developed and governed by the LNAT Consortium Ltd and is administered globally through Pearson VUE authorized test centres .

- JGLS is the only Indian law school currently recognized as a member of the LNAT Consortium and thus incorporated LNAT into its admissions process.
- For JGLS admissions, the LNAT MCQ score is used as the primary metric, and the test must be taken within specified LNAT registration windows.
This means that, unlike most Indian law schools that rely on CLAT/AILET/LSAT scores, LNAT is now an official entrance criterion for at least one major Indian law institution.

Late application deadlines usually apply to international applicants only β it is the responsibility of the applicant to check with their chosen universities. Chosen universities may not accept LNAT results taken as late as July 2027.

Β Dates and Deadlines for Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) ApplicantsΒ
Applicants to Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) can take the LNAT between 1 September 2026 and 15 March 2027 for the Universityβs July 2027 intake.
Notes
- You will need to enter your UCAS Personal Identifier number on your LNAT profile before you submit your UCAS application. You do not need to complete your UCAS application form when you register your LNAT profile.
- Payment is required at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, eligible debit cards and LNAT e-vouchers.
- For the 2026β27 cycle, you should only sit the LNAT once during the applicable testing period. If you sit it twice during the same cycle, the later sitting will automatically be invalidated and the later result will be void.
- If you decide to re-apply to LNAT-participating universities in a later UCAS year, you must sit the LNAT again in that later UCAS year.
- LNAT results cannot be carried forward from one academic year to the next.
- Applicants are advised to check the individual deadlines of their chosen universities, as universities may have specific requirements.
