Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission

To secure admission to MBBS at Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital, Solan, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

•    Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.

Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2025 – Process & Guidelines

Admission to MBBS at MMMC Solan is conducted through two channels:

1. Himachal Pradesh State Quota (85%) – Conducted by Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU)

The 85% state quota seats are available for Himachal Pradesh domicile candidates and filled through HPMCC counselling. The counselling process includes:

•    Round 1:

Online registration, choice filling, and seat allotment.

•    Round 2:

Upgradation for admitted candidates and fresh allotment for newly registered candidates.

•    Mop-Up Round:

Fresh registrations allowed. Vacant seats are filled post Round 2.

•    Stray Vacancy Round:

Conducted at the institutional level by the college for any remaining seats.

All candidates are required to register on the AMRU Himachal Pradesh counselling portal and follow official timelines.

2. All India Quota (15%) – Conducted by MCC

•    15% of MBBS seats at MMMC Solan are open to all India candidates.

•    Counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
