Eligibility Criteria

Admission to MBBS in Assam is based on the guidelines set by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and the National Medical Commission (NMC). Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG examination with the required cutoff marks to be eligible for the counselling process. Applicants should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects, securing the minimum aggregate percentage as specified for their category.

    Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

    Minimum Marks: General – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, PwD – 45%.

    NEET UG Qualification: Must have qualified for NEET UG 2025.

    Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by December 31, 2025.
