Step 1 – Registration

Candidates register online on the BCECEB PGMAC portal using their NEET PG 2026 roll number, name and date of birth; an OTP is sent to the mobile number and email registered with NBEMS, and a PGMAC ID is generated.

Step 2 – Counselling Fee & Security Deposit

Pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2,200 plus a refundable security deposit: Government colleges ₹25,000 (UR/EWS) or ₹12,500 (SC/ST/EBC/BC); Private colleges or Both ₹2,00,000 for all categories. Processing charges are extra.

Step 3 – Choice Filling & Locking

Candidates fill and lock their preferred colleges and subjects in order of preference within the given window. Unlocked choices get locked automatically after the last date.

Step 4 – Seat Allotment

Seats are allotted on a merit-cum-choice basis. There are 4 rounds of online counselling; Round-1 allotted candidates have a Free-Exit option without forfeiture of security deposit.

Step 5 – Document Verification

Allotted candidates upload scanned original documents in PDF on the portal for online verification by the allotted institute, then choose Freeze or Float and download the provisional seat allotment order.

Step 6 – Reporting & Admission

Freeze candidates must physically report to the allotted institute with all original documents within the scheduled period; Float candidates (upgradation) need not report physically. Seats not confirmed within the schedule get cancelled.

🇮🇳 AIQ vs State Quota: In government colleges, 50% seats go to All India Quota (allotted by MCC), and 50% are State Quota, allotted by BCECEB only to Bihar domicile candidates.

📊 Category-wise Reservation (State Quota): SC — 16%, ST — 1%, EBC — 18%, BC — 12%, EWS — 10%, RCG — 3%, plus Disabled Quota (DQ) 5% and female seats within each category.
