Date-wise Batch Allotment

Counselling Overview

Step 1 - Registration

Register separately for AIQ (MCC portal) and State Quota (DMET Odisha portal), as applicable.

Step 2 - Fee & Security Deposit

Pay the registration fee (State Quota: through SBI Collect) and security deposit for each counselling process separately.

Step 3 - Document Verification (State Quota)

Attend document verification at M.K.C.G. Medical College, Brahmapur on your allotted date (14–16 & 21–23 Oct 2026) with the signed application print-out and original documents.

Step 4 - Choice Filling & Locking

Fill and lock preferred college, course, and quota combinations in order of preference. Certificates must be valid on the date of choice locking where specified.

Step 5 - Seat Allotment

Seats allotted on merit-cum-choice-cum-availability basis across Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy.

Step 6 - Reporting & Fee Payment

Report with original documents (including original College Leaving/Transfer Certificate and, where applicable, the Service Indemnity Bond), complete verification, and pay the admission fee within the deadline.

Step 7 - Upgradation

Candidates may upgrade to a better option in later rounds as per that round's rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have qualified NEET PG 2026
• MBBS degree from an NMC/MCI-recognized institution
• Completed compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30 September 2026 (or as notified by NBEMS, New Delhi)
• Actively valid Medical Registration (issued by OMC or NMC/MCI) as on the date of online registration
• Odisha Permanent Resident Certificate required for State Quota seats (govt and private); not required for AIQ, and exempted for out-of-state AIQ MBBS graduates of Odisha Govt colleges
• No specific upper age limit prescribed for NEET PG

Service Bond (State Quota): A State Medical Service Indemnity Bond is mandatory for all allotted candidates except private college seats. It is executed on Non-Judicial stamp paper of not less than Rs. 21/- and signed by the candidate and two sureties. Candidates who opt out are liable for a substantial financial penalty. Confirm exact bond duration and penalty amount from the current official DMET Odisha notification before applying.

Lower Fees vs Other States: Odisha PG fees — especially pre-clinical/para-clinical — are generally lower than most other states, making government seats here highly sought-after.

Mgmt Quota vs Regular: Management Quota seats at private colleges carry a much higher fee than Regular/State Merit Quota seats for the same course, and generally close at much higher (less competitive) ranks.

Cutoff Range Note: Ranges shown are the overall best-to-weakest rank across all listed courses and rounds. Actual cutoff for a specific course will fall within this band — use the predictor for course-specific results.

Stipend (Govt Colleges): Government colleges in Odisha pay a good monthly stipend to MD/MS residents — confirm current stipend amount directly with the college or DMET Odisha notification.

Certificate Validity Alert: Handwritten or illegible copies are not accepted. Permanent Resident Certificate (QR code mandatory), caste certificates (barcode/QR) and SEBC-NCL/EWS certificates must be in the online-generated format. EWS and SEBC-NCL certificates must be issued on/after 1 April of the admission year.
