50% seats of State Government Medical Colleges, open to all MBBS graduates without domicile restriction.
Deemed Universities
100% seats, including management/paid and 15% NRI quota.
Central Universities
DU (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS), IP University (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML), BHU, AMU, CIP Ranchi, LGBRIMH Tezpur.
DNB Post-MBBS
Broad-specialty DNB seats in accredited hospitals.

MCC NEET PG Counselling Fees 2026
MCC charges a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. Amounts below are from the last published MCC PG bulletin. The 2026 bulletin is awaited, so confirm before paying.

If you apply for both AIQ and Deemed seats, only the higher (Deemed) amount is payable.
Pay only from the candidate's or parent's own bank account/card. Refunds go only to the account used for payment, and MCC advises against cyber cafe or third-party accounts.

Open the PG Medical Counselling section.
2. Register
Create your account with NEET PG roll number and personal details.
3. Fill Details
Personal, contact, academic, category and registration details.
4. Pay Fees
Registration fee plus security deposit.
5. Fill Choices
College + course + quota combinations. There is no fixed limit on choices.
6. Lock Choices
Locked choices cannot be edited. Unlocked choices are auto-locked at the deadline.

Do not depend on previous cutoffs alone. Include every college and course you would genuinely accept, in order of preference.
Counselling Rounds & Exit Rules
Rules below are from the last published MCC bulletin. Follow the 2026 bulletin once released.
Round 1: Free Exit
If allotted and you do not join, the deposit is not forfeited and you can go directly to Round 2. To upgrade, report, complete admission and submit willingness.
Round 2
Fresh registration allowed for new candidates. If upgraded, you must be relieved from the Round 1 seat and join the new one. Not joining a Round 2 seat forfeits the deposit.
Round 3
Final upgradation. Once you join a Round 3 seat you cannot resign or upgrade, and you are barred from later rounds. Not joining forfeits the deposit and removes you from further rounds.
Stray Vacancy
Only for candidates holding no seat anywhere. Not joining forfeits the deposit and can debar you from NEET PG counselling for the next academic year.
Round 3 Category Conversion
Unfilled reserved seats convert in sequence to avoid lapsing.

When will MCC NEET PG Counselling 2026 start?
MCC has not released the official schedule. It is expected after scorecard release in October 2026. Check mcc.nic.in.
What are the MCC NEET PG counselling fees?
As per the last bulletin: AIQ/Central/DNB/AFMS/ESIC is ₹1,000 fee + ₹25,000 deposit for UR/EWS and ₹500 + ₹10,000 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. Deemed is ₹5,000 + ₹2,00,000 for all. Confirm in the 2026 bulletin.
What is Free Exit in Round 1?
If you are allotted a Round 1 seat and do not join, your deposit is not forfeited and you can take part in Round 2.
What if I do not join my Round 2 seat?
As per the last bulletin, the security deposit is forfeited.
Can I edit choices after locking?
No. Unlocked choices are auto-locked at the deadline.
Do I need to register again for each round?
Generally no. Candidates who registered in Round 1 need not register again, while fresh registration is allowed for others in the initial rounds.
Is the 2026 schedule final?
Only after MCC publishes the official schedule and notices.
