• All MCh (Magister Chirurgiae) courses across medical institutions in the country.
• All DM / MCh courses in Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions.
• All DrNB Super Specialty courses, except the Direct 6-year DrNB Super Specialty programs.
Through NEET-SS, candidates compete for Super Specialty seats across participating institutions, and admission is granted based on NEET-SS merit and centralized counselling.
The following institutions are not included under NEET-SS for admission to DM / MCh courses for the 2025–26 academic session:
1. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and other AIIMS institutes offering Super Specialty programs
2. Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh
3. Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry
4. National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru
5. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram
These institutes conduct their own admission processes for Super Specialty programs.
The NEET-SS 2025 examination will be conducted on 26 December 2025 and 27 December 2025 for different question paper groups. The examination will be conducted in two shifts — Morning Shift and Afternoon Shift.

• Counselling applications can only be submitted online through the MCC website.
• Candidates should fill the application form themselves.
• A candidate can submit the counselling application only once.

• Registering for counselling does not guarantee seat allotment.
Candidates must ensure that all information provided during registration is correct and accurate, as MCC will not modify any information once submitted.
The first round includes the following steps:
1. Online registration with payment of registration fee and security deposit
2. Choice filling and choice locking
3. Seat allotment process
4. Publication of Round-1 results

As per Supreme Court judgments, there is currently no reservation in Super Specialty courses, including:
• DM
• MCh
