Integrated Law Programmes

The Institute of Law, Nirma University offers five-year integrated law programmes combining legal education with humanities, commerce or business studies. The programmes are spread across ten semesters and are recognised by the Bar Council of India.

Nirma Law Admission 2027 Dates

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary / Intermediate Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination.
• Minimum required aggregate is 45%.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, subject to producing proof of passing at the time of admission.
• For General Category admission, candidates must appear in CLAT-2027.
• Admission is based on the inter se All India merit rank of CLAT-2027.

Admission Process

Nirma Law Seat Matrix

The Institute states that up to 15% of the total intake is likely to be filled under the NRI/NRI Sponsored category. Seat allocation remains subject to applicable rules and approvals.

Nirma University Law Fees

The latest detailed fee structure currently published on the official admission page is for the 2026-27 admission year. The 2027-28 fee should be confirmed when the university publishes the revised structure.

Students admitted under NRI/NRI Sponsored, PIO, Foreign National or CIWGC categories are not eligible for the listed Institute scholarships.

NRI, NRI Sponsored, OCI & International Admission

Nirma University provides a separate admission route for NRI and NRI Sponsored candidates. Up to 15% of the total intake is likely to be filled under the NRI/NRI Sponsored category as per applicable rules.

NRI / NRI Sponsored Eligibility

• NRI candidates include students who have studied and passed the qualifying examination from schools or colleges in foreign countries, subject to the University's applicable rules.
• NRI Sponsored candidates are supported financially by an NRI who is working abroad.
• Admission under the NRI Sponsored category is considered on the basis of CLAT-2027 score.
• For genuine NRI candidates, the University states that no qualifying examination is required, although preference is given to CLAT-2027.

NRI / NRI Sponsored Documents

• Passport of the candidate, parent, NRI or NRI sponsor, as applicable
• Notarised affidavit proving NRI status for self-NRI candidates
• Notarised affidavit from the sponsoring person for NRI Sponsored candidates
• Academic qualification documents
• Other documents prescribed by the University

NRI / International Fee

The current official information lists NRI/NRI Sponsored tuition at US$7,500 per year. Additional applicable University, examination, registration, deposit and student-related charges may also apply.

For OCI and Foreign National applicants, admission should be processed through the applicable international admission route and category-specific rules. OCI/FN candidates should confirm the current fee and documentation directly with Nirma University before applying.

General Admission Documents

• Class 10 / Matriculation marksheet or certificate for date-of-birth proof
• Class 12 marksheet and certificate
• CLAT-2027 score / rank details
• Transfer Certificate, where applicable
• Migration Certificate for candidates who passed the qualifying examination from a board other than Gujarat Board
• Passport-size photographs
• Valid identity proof
• Other documents prescribed during admission and document verification

Nirma University Law Hostel Fees

The University has a girls' hostel facility within the campus, subject to availability.

Mess and Laundry

• Mess Fee: ₹58,800 for 10 months
• Laundry: ₹5,500 as separately applicable
