NMAT 2026 (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The exam is accepted by SVKM's NMIMS and several leading management institutes in India and abroad for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes.

Step 1: Register Online
Visit the official NMAT by GMAC website, click "Register for NMAT 2026," enter your name, email, mobile number, create your account, and verify your registered email.

Fill in personal information, academic qualification, graduation details, work experience (if applicable), and communication address.
Step 3: Upload Photograph
Upload a recent passport-size photograph as per the prescribed specifications.
Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
Pay via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI (if available).
Step 5: Schedule Your Exam

GMAC does not publish a detailed topic-wise syllabus; preparation is generally based on topics consistently covered in previous NMAT exams.

Preparing for NMAT requires a balance of conceptual understanding, speed, and accuracy. Since the exam has strict sectional time limits, candidates should regularly practice under timed conditions.

Learn section-wise time limits, decide attempt order, and practice solving 108 questions within 120 minutes.
2. Build Strong Fundamentals
Revise arithmetic and algebra concepts, improve grammar and vocabulary, practice reasoning daily.
3. Attempt Mock Tests
Solve full-length NMAT mock tests regularly, analyse mistakes, and focus on improving speed and accuracy.
4. Improve Time Management
Attempt sectional tests weekly, avoid overspending time on tough questions, attempt every question (no negative marking).
5. Regular Revision
Revise formulas and shortcuts, read English editorials, practice vocabulary daily, solve previous NMAT-level questions.
Difficulty Level: NMAT is generally considered a moderate-level MBA entrance exam. While questions are comparatively less difficult than some other MBA entrance tests, the sectional time limits and adaptive format make speed, accuracy, and consistent practice essential.
