Odisha AYUSH Counselling 2026–27 is conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee for admission to BAMS and BHMS courses in eligible AYUSH institutions across Odisha. The counselling process is based on NEET UG 2026 merit and the choices filled by eligible candidates.

Odisha AYUSH Counselling 2026–27 Overview
OJEE conducts Odisha AYUSH counselling for BAMS and BHMS admissions in eligible government and private institutions. The counselling includes Odisha State Quota seats and AIQ seats in specified private Ayurvedic colleges. Admission is based on NEET UG 2026 merit, eligibility, reservation and candidate choices.

NEET UG 2026
Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 and have a valid NEET rank for participation in Odisha AYUSH counselling.

- Required subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology.
- The same subject requirement applies for admission to BHMS.
Odisha AYUSH Counselling Seat Quota & Domicile
State Quota
For Odisha State Quota seats, the candidate's parents must be permanent natives of Odisha.
Odisha Resident/Nativity Certificate in Form III is required during document verification.
All India Quota (AIQ)
Domicile certificate is not required for AIQ seats available in the specified private Ayurvedic colleges.

Online Registration
Register through the Odisha AYUSH counselling portal using your own username and password.

Pay Counselling Fee
Pay the non-refundable counselling registration fee of ₹1,000.

Fill Choices
Select BAMS and/or BHMS choices and arrange them according to your preference.

Review & Lock
Review your choices carefully and lock them before the specified deadline.
Only candidates who complete the registration process are considered for seat allotment. Allotment is based on NEET UG 2026 merit, eligibility, reservation, seat availability and choices.
Odisha AYUSH Choice Filling & Locking
- Candidates can modify their choices before the choice-locking deadline.
- Once choices are locked, they cannot be unlocked.
- If a candidate does not manually lock the choices, the last saved choices will be automatically locked after the deadline.
- Choice locking is a one-time facility.
- Candidates should lock their choices only after carefully checking the order of preference.
- Candidates should keep a printout of their locked choices for future reference.

Seat Allotment
Round 1 seat allotment is based on NEET 2026 merit/rank, candidate choices, eligibility, reservation/category and available seats.
Fee Payment
Candidates receiving a seat must pay the applicable part-admission fee and university registration fee within the prescribed timeline.
Freeze / Float
Candidates can select Freeze or Float as applicable after seat allotment.
Document Verification
Candidates must report to the designated OJEE Cell and complete document verification for provisional admission.

The initial payment after allotment is ₹8,500. Any remaining or differential admission fee is payable at the allotted institute.
Odisha AYUSH Counselling 2026–27 Round 2
- Fresh registration will be available for candidates who did not register in Round 1.
- Candidates who remained unallotted in Round 1 need to submit fresh choices.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not report may also participate with fresh choices.
- Candidates who reported and selected Float may be considered for upgradation.
- Newly allotted candidates must complete fee payment, reporting and document verification within the prescribed timeline.
- Round 1 choices become null and void for Round 2, except for candidates who have already reported as applicable.
Odisha AYUSH Counselling 2026–27 Round 3
- Candidates are required to submit fresh choices for Round 3.
- An upgradation round may be conducted after Round 3 depending on non-reporting and seat availability.
- Eligible candidates will receive the final allotment letter as applicable.
- No withdrawal is allowed after Round 3 allotment.
- Withdrawal, wherever permitted, must be completed within the prescribed counselling schedule.
Odisha AYUSH Stray Vacancy Round
A Stray Vacancy Round may be conducted if seats remain vacant after the regular counselling rounds.
- The schedule and procedure will be notified separately.
- Eligible candidates may be required to submit the prescribed AACCC undertaking.
- The undertaking confirms that the candidate does not hold a seat through AACCC or State/UT AYUSH counselling.

Important: Candidates must bring original documents along with one set of photocopies for document verification. Failure to produce the required quota/category documents may result in cancellation of the applicable quota seat.
Reporting & Document Verification
Candidates allotted a seat must complete the prescribed fee payment, reporting and document verification within the specified counselling schedule.
For Round 1 admission, candidates are required to report to the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar for document verification and provisional admission, as applicable.

Odisha AYUSH Counselling 2026–27 Important Rules
- Admission is based on NEET UG 2026 merit and candidate choices.
- Registration for Odisha AYUSH counselling is mandatory.
- The counselling registration fee is non-refundable.
- Choice locking is a one-time facility and locked choices cannot be unlocked.
- Candidates must produce original documents during verification.
- Valid reservation/category certificates must be submitted wherever applicable.
- Fee payment, reporting and document verification must be completed within the prescribed timeline.
- Fresh choices may be required in subsequent counselling rounds.
- No withdrawal is allowed after Round 3 allotment.
- The Stray Vacancy Round, if conducted, will be notified separately.
PwBD Admission Requirements
PwBD candidates must have a valid UDID and undergo assessment by the Medical Assessment Board at SCB Medical College, Cuttack.
The applicable benchmark disability requirement is 40% or above. The assessment dates will be notified separately.
Green Card Reservation
Candidates claiming Green Card reservation must produce the original Green Card of their parents issued by the Government of Odisha. Details must match the required records.
EWS Reservation
EWS candidates must declare the category during registration and provide a valid EWS certificate. The reservation is subject to applicable conditions.
