Odisha NEET UG Counselling : Admission Process, Dates, Eligibility & Seat Matrix

The Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026, conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee, is the centralised admission process for MBBS and BDS courses under the State Quota seats in Odisha’s government and private medical/dental colleges. It covers 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are managed separately by MCC. Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet Odisha’s domicile/eligibility norms can register for state quota counselling.

The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, and reporting with original documents at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda. The schedule has been revised twice by OJEE due to changes in the MCC AIQ counselling calendar, and candidates must follow the latest revised dates given below.

As per OJEE Notice No. OJEE/430, dated 20 August 2026, the 2nd Revised 1st Round Counselling Schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under State Quota seats is as follows:

*College-wise Reporting Schedule with necessary instructions will be notified in due course of time. Candidates shall follow the instructions before the registration process of different rounds. All other activities as per the tentative schedule published vide OJEE/398, dated 05-08-2026, will remain unchanged.

Note: This is the 2nd revision to the tentative schedule – the first revision was published on 19 August 2026, and this current schedule (per OJEE/430, dated 20 August 2026) supersedes it due to changes in the MCC AIQ counselling calendar. Candidates should keep checking ojee.nic.in and odishajee.com for further updates, as the schedule may be revised again in line with the national MCC calendar.

Eligibility Criteria of Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026

To participate, candidates must qualify for NEET UG 2026 and fulfil Odisha domicile norms (except for management/NRI quota seats, where applicable).

• Must qualify NEET UG 2026 with the required cutoff percentile and be included in the OJEE State Merit List.
• Must be a citizen of India and possess a valid Odisha domicile certificate for state quota seats.
• Completion of Class 12 with PCB and English is mandatory.
• Minimum marks required:
  • General: 50%
  • OBC/SEBC/SC/ST: 40%
  • PwD: 45%
• Candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2026.
