Established in 1960, Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak is the oldest and most prestigious government medical college in Haryana. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, oversees the State Quota counselling, while All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for 15% seats is conducted separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
