PES University is a teaching and research university in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with more than five decades of institutional history. B.Tech Admission Routes

JEE Main & KCET based admission — PESSAT is no longer used

PES University does not follow PESSAT anymore. For the current B.Tech admission cycle, PES University states that admissions will use only JEE Main and KCET scores.

PESU will consider the best of the two JEE Main attempts for candidates applying through JEE Main, and the KCET rank for candidates applying through KCET scores. Candidates must register on the PES University admissions portal to be considered for the 45% PESU Merit JEE Main / KCET B.Tech seats.

Management / Higher Fee Category

PES University also offers B.Tech seats under the Higher Fee Category / Management Quota. Students interested in this route are required to contact the university's Admissions Office for the applicable process and fee details.

Importantly, PES University states that students seeking admission through Management, NRI or Higher Fee Category for B.Tech must still take either KCET or JEE Main.

PES University's current admission information separately mentions NRI, PIO, OCI, Foreign and Sponsored seats within the B.Tech admission structure. Students applying under these categories should contact the Admissions Office for the specific eligibility, documentation and fee requirements.
