Seat Upgradation
Seat upgradation is available only up to Round 3.
Exit Rule
Candidates cannot resign or exit a seat allotted in Round 3.
Seat Reversion
No seats revert to participating states after Round 2.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has published the MBBS Seat Matrix 2026. According to the official data, 1,36,939 MBBS seats are available for the 2026–27 academic session.
