Eligibility Criteria of Puducherry NEET UG Counselling 2025

To participate, candidates must qualify for NEET UG 2025 and fulfil Puducherry domicile norms (except for NRI/management quota seats).

• Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with the required cutoff percentile.
• Must be a citizen of India and possess a valid Puducherry domicile certificate (except for NRI/management quota).
• Completion of Class 12 with PCB and English is mandatory.
• Minimum marks required:
  • General: 50%
  • OBC/SC/ST: 40%
  • PwD: 45%
• Candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2025.

Puducheery NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round-wise Schedule

The counselling will be held in four major rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy. Each round has its own set of deadlines for registration, choice filling, allotment, and reporting.

Round 1 Schedule

Round 1 is the main round, during which most government and private college seats are allotted. Candidates can choose colleges, lock choices, and get seats based on their NEET rank.

Round 2 Schedule

In this round, candidates who didn’t get a seat or want to upgrade can apply. Fresh registrations are allowed for new users, and seat allotments are made based on fresh preferences and available seats.

Mop-Up Round

The Mop-Up Round is for leftover seats after Round 2, mainly in private medical and dental colleges. This round is crucial for students who missed out earlier or didn’t join their allotted seats.

Stray Vacancy Round

This is the final round where seats are filled at the college level. Only previously registered candidates who haven’t joined any seat can participate. No fresh registrations are accepted.
