RIMS is a 500 bedded tertiary hospital with all the Medical and Diagnostic facilities to serve the people of Raichur district. The Hospital sees very good number of OPD’s and IP. 24X7 emergency and trauma care facility, Eye bank and blood bank facilities are available. Casualty service has 20 beds and there is a daily patient input of 45-50. There are around 220 beds allocated for Medicine and allied services, 220 beds for Surgery and allied services and OBG and ANC has 60 beds. There are 10 Operation Theatres to conduct major and minor surgeries. ICU/ICCU 05 beds, I.C.U. of Burn Unit 06, Pediatrics ICU 10 beds and ICU for others like 5 beds. The Labour room has 8 beds and additional 4 beds reserved for septic cases. There are very good diagnostic facilities in the Hospital. The Hospital’s general specialties include General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, Paediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry & Forensic Medicine. Super-Speciality departments include: Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Facio Maxillary & Dialysis.
