About Rajasthan Veterinary Admission 2026
Rajasthan Veterinary Admission 2026 is conducted by the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) programme offered by constituent colleges of RAJUVAS/RUVAS and affiliated private veterinary colleges across the state. For the academic session 2026โ27, admissions will be granted on the basis of NEET UG 2026 scores, and RAJUVAS will not conduct the Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT). Candidates seeking admission under State Quota or Management Quota must qualify NEET UG 2026 and participate in the online counselling process conducted by RAJUVAS as per the Information Booklet-2026.

Important: RAJUVAS has officially confirmed via its Information Booklet-2026 that admissions for B.V.Sc. & A.H. 2026โ27 will be based on NEET UG 2026 scores, and RPVT will not be conducted for this session. Candidates must qualify NEET (UG) 2026 โ merely qualifying does not confer any right to admission, which remains provisional until final eligibility scrutiny.

New (as per order dated 07.09.2026): If State Quota seats remain vacant even after completion of three rounds of counselling, such vacant seats may be filled by eligible candidates from other states, treating them equivalent to Management Quota seats, as per the order issued by the Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Rajasthan.

Admissions to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme are conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner based on NEET UG 2026 scores. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Age
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply, subject to fulfilling eligibility requirements at the time of admission
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026 (candidate must have been born on or before 31.12.2009)
- Maximum age: No upper age limit as per VCI's MSVE-2016 regulations
- Admission based on NEET UG 2026 merit only โ candidates must qualify and participate in RAJUVAS counselling
- Date of birth as recorded in the Class 10 marksheet/certificate will be treated as authentic
Domicile & Quota Eligibility
- State Quota (Constituent + Private Colleges): Only candidates of Rajasthan domicile are eligible. A digitally issued Rajasthan Domicile Certificate is compulsory at the time of admission.
- Management Quota (Private Colleges only): Open to NEET-qualified candidates of Rajasthan or any other state of India.
- NRI/NRI-Sponsored Seats (Constituent Colleges only): Open to candidates of other states as well, subject to NRI eligibility conditions.
- Candidates applying for both State Quota and Management Quota must submit separate online registration forms for each.

As per the RAJUVAS Information Booklet-2026, the registration fee depends on the quota under which the candidate applies. Fee once paid is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable under any circumstances.

Registration Process
Step 1: Visit the Portal
Visit the official RAJUVAS admission portal (rajuvas.ac.in).
Step 2: Online Registration
Complete the online registration using your personal and NEET UG 2026 details. Apply separately for State Quota and Management Quota if applying for both.
Step 3: Fill Academic Details
Fill in academic, communication, and category information carefully โ ensure it matches your NEET (UG) 2026 database exactly.
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload the required documents, photograph, and signature in the prescribed format.
Step 5: Pay Registration Fee
Pay the applicable registration fee (State/Management/NRI) through the online payment gateway.
Step 6: Fill & Lock College Choices
Carefully fill and lock your college and seat-type (Regular/Payment/Management) preferences. Locked choices cannot be modified under any circumstances.
Step 7: Submit Application
Review and submit the application form. Once submitted, it cannot be edited or withdrawn.
Step 8: Download Confirmation
Download and print the confirmation page and allotment letter for future reference.
Important: If a candidate does not register online, their name will not be included in the counselling process. If a candidate registers but does not fill any choice of college/seat type, they will not be allotted any seat. Candidates absent in any online counselling round will not be considered in subsequent rounds.
Counselling Process
Admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme in Rajasthan is conducted through a centralized online/offline counselling process by the Central UG Admission Board of RAJUVAS. Admissions for the 2026โ27 session will be based solely on NEET UG 2026 scores, as RAJUVAS has discontinued RPVT for this academic session.
Step 1: Online Registration
Register online through the RAJUVAS admission portal with NEET UG 2026 details, personal information, and academic qualifications.
Step 2: Document Upload & Verification
Upload all necessary documents; the university verifies eligibility, domicile, reservation, and other claims before preparing the merit list.
Step 3: Merit List Publication
RAJUVAS publishes the merit list based on NEET UG 2026 scores and applicable reservation policies.
Step 4: Choice Filling & Locking
Select preferred veterinary colleges and seat types, and lock choices within the prescribed timeline. Once locked, choices cannot be modified.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
Seats are allotted across required online/offline counselling rounds, based on NEET UG 2026 rank, category, Rajasthan domicile (where applicable), choices filled, and seat availability.
Step 6: Reporting to the Allotted College
Report to the respective veterinary college with original documents, admission fees, and Physical Fitness Certificate within the stipulated time to confirm admission.
Vacant Seat Policy (New): As per the order dated 07.09.2026, if State Quota seats remain vacant even after three rounds of counselling, they may be opened to eligible candidates from other states, treated equivalent to Management Quota seats, as per prevailing VCI rules and eligibility criteria.
Reservation Policy (Official โ State Quota Seats)
Reservation applies only to State Quota seats (Rajasthan domicile candidates), as per the prevailing policy of the Government of Rajasthan. Management Quota candidates (including out-of-state candidates) are treated as Unreserved category.
