Eligibility Criteria for MBBS & MD/MS Admission in Maharashtra
MBBS (UG) Admission Eligibility – NEET UG 2025
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility in order to gain admission to an MBBS program in Maharashtra:
• Candidates must have obtained a passing 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as their subjects.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
• Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2025 at the required cutoff percentile.
• Candidate must have attained the minimum age of 17 years as on or before 31st December 2025.
• Candidates applying under Maharashtra State Quota must hold a valid domicile certificate.
MD/MS (PG) Admission Eligibility – NEET PG 2025
In order to gain admission into MD/MS postgraduate medical programs in Maharashtra, candidates must:
• Hold a recognised MBBS degree issued by a college or medical school recognised by a University in India and recognised by the NMC.
• Have completed (or will be completing) their 12 month compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March 2025.
• Candidates must qualify NEET PG 2025 at the required minimum percentile.
• Candidates must possess either a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the NMC or a State Medical Council.

• Registration: Please visit https://cetcell.mahacet.org and register.
• Uploading Documents: Once you are registered, you will have to upload scanned documents.

• Seat allotment: Medical Council of the state will allot the seats based on same criteria such as NEET UG score, category and mappings of preferences you filled-in.
