About the College

Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital (SRDCH), Chennai, was founded in 1995 under the Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust and is a constituent college of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Deemed to be University. It's located in Porur, Chennai, on a campus that houses a large teaching hospital with over 330 fully equipped dental chairs.

The college is recognised by the Dental Council of India and accredited NAAC. With a floor space of over 2,29,000 sq. ft. and a steady flow of patients through the attached hospital, students here get a good amount of hands-on clinical time.

Since SRDCH is a deemed university, BDS admission goes through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), not Tamil Nadu state counselling. Seats are offered under All India Quota / Deemed University quota, along with Management and NRI quota.
