Agriculture and Pharmacy Category (A&P)

The following courses are offered under the Agriculture and Pharmacy Category:

Eligibility for Engineering Category (E)

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology

or related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana along with bridge course (for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches),

OR

Passed or appeared at the final year of Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana or any equivalent recognized examination.

For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (M.P.C.), candidates who have passed or appeared for Intermediate with Biology, Physics and Chemistry along with Bridge Course in Mathematics conducted by BIE Telangana are also eligible.

Minimum Marks

Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in MPC / BiPC subjects taken together.

Age Criteria

• Minimum age: 16 years as on 31st December of the year of admission
• No upper age limit

For the following courses:

• B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)
• B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
• B.Tech. (Food Technology (FT))

• Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission
• Maximum age: 22 years (25 years for SC/ST candidates)

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana.

Normalization of Question Paper

TG EAPCET-2026 will be conducted in multiple sessions based on the same syllabus and pattern. A candidate is eligible to appear in only one session. A normalization process is adopted to eliminate variations in difficulty levels across sessions.

Normalized marks of the candidate are calculated using:

Where:

• SASD – Sum of Average and Standard Deviation of the subject of a session
• GASD – Sum of Average and Standard Deviation across all sessions
• STA – Average of top 0.1% candidates in the session
• GTA – Average of top 0.1% candidates across all sessions

If normalized marks go below zero, they are treated as zero.

For tie-breaking, normalized marks (though negative) are considered.

Criteria for Ranking

• Applicable to candidates who secure qualifying marks (Normalized marks).
• SC/ST candidates – qualifying marks not prescribed.
• Ranks allotted purely based on performance (normalized marks) in TG EAPCET-2026.

Notification and Application Schedule

Registration Fee

Submission of the Online Application form for Engineering (E) and Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) streams shall be done based on the subjects studied in the qualifying examination.

TG EAPCET-2026 application should be submitted through ONLINE mode only.

Test Zones – TG EAPCET-2026

1. Hyderabad is divided into FOUR ZONES to facilitate candidates to take TG EAPCET-2026 in a nearby area without any difficulty.
2. During the ONLINE submission of TG EAPCET-2026 Application Form, the candidate must select the required ZONE of his / her choice. Once chosen, requests for change of ZONE will not be entertained later.
3. The Convener reserves the right to add or delete some Test Centres from the list of Zones notified.
4. The Convener reserves the right to allot candidates to any Zone other than that opted by the candidates.
5. Candidate has to submit only one application either for 'E' or 'A & P' or 'E & A & P' category test. If any candidate submits more than one application for one category, the Convener reserves the right to reject all the applications or accept any one of them only.
