Important Fee Rules

(For Other Than FN/NRI Category)

  1. Students whose study extends beyond the normal duration of the programme shall continue to pay the fee at the same rate as their last semester fee.
  2. The Institute reserves the right to revise the fee and other charges at any stage.
  3. The fees listed are applicable only to students admitted in the academic session 2024–25 and will not apply to future batches.
  4. Students must pay additional per-subject feesfor:
    • Backlog subjects
    • Improvement subjects
      if these are taken during regular or summer semesters.
  5. Students admitted under the International Engineering Programme (IEP):
    • Shall pay 1.5 times the normal TIET fee for the first two years, and
    • For the remaining two years, fees will be as prescribed by the respective partner foreign university.
  6. Other Charges (₹11,000 per semester)include:

Important Fee Rules

(For FN/NRI Category)

  1. The prescribed fee will be applicable for all subsequent academic years, and students whose study extends beyond the normal duration must continue to pay the same fee rate as their last fee.
  2. The NRI fee charged must not be lower than the fee applicable to Indian students in any academic year.
  3. Students admitted under the International Engineering Programme (IEP):
    • Will pay fees applicable to normal TIET FN/NRI students for the first two years, and
    • For the remaining two years, fees will be as prescribed by the partner foreign university.
  4. If a student fails to meet academic requirements or opts out of the IEP programme, the student will continue the programme at TIET for the 3rd and 4th year by paying the FN/NRI fee prescribed by TIET.
  5. Other Charges (USD 300 annually)include:
    • Student Activity & Welfare Charges – USD 240
    • Examination Charges – USD 35
