Choice filling for Round 1 took place from 2 to 5 September 2026, and a seat allotment result was declared on 7 September 2026. Following a High Court order, DGME UP has now rescheduled Round 1: the 7 September result stands cancelled, and choice filling will be done afresh from 18 to 21 September 2026, with the new result on 22 September and admission from 23 to 26 September 2026. UP NEET UG 2026 Counselling – Round 1 Rescheduled, Round 2 Postponed!

UP NEET UG 2026: Following a High Court order, DGME UP has rescheduled Round 1 counselling. Bodmas Education offers "end to end" support to help simplify the entire admission process. The earlier Round 1 result declared on 7 September 2026 now stands cancelled. Choice filling (no fresh registration needed) is open from 18 to 21 September 2026, the new result will be declared on 22 September, and admission will run from 23 to 26 September 2026. Round 2 is postponed; fresh dates will be notified once this round concludes.

UP NEET 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule (Official & Rescheduled) 

Note: Rows 3–5 above are the rescheduled dates and replace the original 2–7 September schedule following a High Court order. The 7 September 2026 allotment result stands cancelled.

Round 2 Schedule – Postponed (2026)

Round 2 was earlier scheduled for 14–25 September but now stands postponed following the Round 1 reschedule. Fresh Round 2 dates will be announced once the rescheduled Round 1 admission process (ending 26 September 2026) is over. Candidates who had already registered for Round 2 should wait for fresh instructions rather than assume their registration carries forward.

Mop-Up Round (2026 – To Be Announced)

The Mop-Up Round is for leftover seats after Round 2, mainly in private medical and dental colleges. This round is crucial for students who missed out earlier or didn’t join their allotted seats. With Round 1 rescheduled and Round 2 postponed, the entire subsequent counselling timeline is likely to shift; 2026 dates are awaited. MBBS Bond Policy in Uttar Pradesh 2026

Candidates seeking MBBS admission in Uttar Pradesh should understand the applicable service bond, penalty and discontinuation conditions before taking admission.

Note: As per the available bond-policy data, applicable MBBS candidates in Uttar Pradesh are required to complete a 2-year service obligation, with a ₹10 Lakhs penalty for non-compliance. The discontinuation penalty is listed as ₹1 Lakh plus the applicable entire course fees. Candidates should verify the latest 2026-27 admission notification and bond conditions before taking admission.

UP NEET Counselling Fee & Security Deposit (2026, Official)

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee and a refundable security deposit. As per the official DGME UP Round 1 notice dated 3rd August 2026 (registration window subsequently extended vide Notice No. ME-3/2026/1517 dated 12th August 2026), a registration fee of ₹2,000 and a category-wise refundable security deposit (₹30,000 for government seats up to ₹2,00,000 for private medical seats) have been prescribed. The security deposit varies depending on the type of college and is essential to secure the seat.

This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee that must be paid at the time of online registration for each round of counselling.

UP NEET Counselling Security Deposit (Round 1 – 2026, Official)

The refundable security deposit varies according to the type of college you’re applying to. This amount is forfeited if the candidate fails to join after seat allotment.

🔹 Round 1 Process (Rescheduled)

• Step 1: Fill college & course preferences afresh (18 – 21 September 2026) – no new registration needed
• Step 2: Check the new allotment result on 22 September 2026 and download the letter
• Step 3: Report to the allotted institute with documents and fee (23 – 26 September 2026)

➡ Any earlier admission based on the 7 September allotment is cancelled. Free Exit remains allowed if you don't want to keep the allotted seat.

🔹 Round 2 (Postponed)

Round 2 stands postponed. Candidates should wait for DGME UP to notify fresh dates after Round 1 admission ends on 26 September 2026. Choice revision and seat upgrade will be available as usual once Round 2 is rescheduled.
