UPESEAT 2027 โ B.Tech Admission, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern & Application Form
The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) is the entrance examination conducted by UPES, Dehradun for admission to its undergraduate B.Tech programmes. UPES offers engineering courses in computer science, aerospace, mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, biotechnology and other specialised areas.
For the academic session 2027โ28, the B.Tech application process is open. Candidates can apply through UPESEAT 2027 or through alternative pathways such as JEE Main 2027, SAT, CUET-UG 2027 and Board Merit, subject to programme-specific criteria.

UPESEAT 2027 โ Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the academic requirements of their selected engineering programme.
Regular B.Tech Programmes (School of Advanced Engineering & School of Computer Science)
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Class 10.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Class 12.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12.
B.Tech Mathematics and Computing
- Minimum 70% aggregate in Class 10.
- Minimum 70% aggregate in Class 12.
- Minimum 70% aggregate in PCM in Class 12.
B.Tech Programmes under School of Health Sciences and Technology
- Minimum 50% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics, and English as major subjects in Class 12, as applicable to the programme.

Candidates may apply through the UPES entrance exam or an accepted non-examination route.
