West Bengal NEET UG 2025 counselling

The West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2025, conducted by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, is the centralised admission process for MBBS and BDS seats across the state. It manages 85% of state quota seats in government and private medical colleges, while the remaining 15% of seats are allotted under the All India Quota (AIQ) through MCC. Candidates who qualify for NEET 2025 and fulfil the domicile requirements of West Bengal can register via the official counselling portal. The process includes registration, fee payment, document verification, and choice filling. Counselling is held in multiple rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy - providing fair opportunities for all eligible candidates, including NRI quota applicants.

Seat allotment is carried out based on NEET rank, candidate preferences, seat availability, and reservation criteria. Accuracy during the application process, timely submission of fees, and proper documentation are essential to secure admission without complications. By following the schedule carefully, students can maximise their chances of obtaining an MBBS or BDS seat in one of West Bengal’s leading medical colleges.
