The ESIC has granted in-principle approval for the establishment of 10 new ESIC Medical Colleges across multiple states. The proposed locations are:

ESIC Meeting & Key Discussion
The announcement was made during the 194th meeting of the Employeesβ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) held at ESIC Headquarters in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
The meeting was also attended by Union Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje, where several key decisions were taken to strengthen ESICβs infrastructure and medical facilities.

| Nursing & Para-medical Courses | Approval for starting Para-medical and B.Sc (Nursing) courses at ESIC Medical Colleges in Alwar, Bihta, Faridabad, Joka, K.K. Nagar, Sanathnagar, and Rajajinagar. |
| Nursing Officer Recruitment | Approval for recruitment of Nursing Officers through NORCET in line with the AIIMS recruitment policy. |
| Land Acquisition | Approval for acquisition of land for construction of hospitals, dispensaries, and DCBOs at Guntur, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Pune, Dhubri, Muzaffarpur, and Auraiya. |

Additional Deliberations & Participation
In addition, the meeting included deliberations on improvement in medical care services, administrative matters, financial aspects, and review of ongoing construction projects.
It was attended by Members of Parliament including Dola Sen, Praveen Khandelwal, and N. K. Premachandran, along with Secretary (Labour & Employment) Sumita Dawra and Director General ESIC Ashok Kumar Singh. Representatives of state governments, employers, employees, and medical experts were also present.
