Established in 1961, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is one of India's premier engineering institutions and a designated Institute of National Importance. Located on a sprawling 325-acre campus in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, technology, sciences, design, and management. Notable B.Tech programs include Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and more, with M.Tech, M.Sc., MBA, and Ph.D. options also available.

IIT Delhi's vision is to contribute to India and the world through excellence in scientific and technical education and research. Its mission emphasizes fostering a learning environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and ethical leadership. The institute is globally recognized for its cutting-edge research, industry collaborations, and entrepreneurial ecosystem, consistently ranking among the top engineering institutions in India and abroad. It became an Institution of Eminence in 2018.

IIT Delhi emphasizes holistic development, offering a range of extracurricular activities and a robust internship program to prepare students for industry challenges.

As per the JoSAA, IIT Delhi offers seats across its various B.Tech and Dual Degree programs, including supernumerary seats for female candidates. The seat distribution is categorized by program and reservation categories such as General, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and includes specific allocations for female candidates.

Admissions are based on JEE Advanced ranks, and candidates must participate in the JoSAA counselling process to secure a seat.

The seat matrix helps students understand the admission process and plan their choices accordingly during JoSAA counseling. It ensures fair allocation based on rank and category, providing clear details for a smooth admission experience.

Note: SC/ST and PwD students are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for UG programs.
