A Comprehensive Counselling Guide by Bodmas Education Services
Kerala is regarded as one of the most transparent and legally structured states in India for MBBS admissions. Unlike many states where multiple agencies or institutional-level admissions exist, Kerala follows a fully centralized, merit-based counselling system governed strictly by statutory authorities and government orders. Every MBBS seat in Keralaβwhether in Government Medical Colleges or Private Medical Collegesβis filled only through official counselling processes linked to NEET-UG.
MBBS admission in Kerala is controlled by two authorities with clearly demarcated jurisdiction:
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has activated the Profile Verification and Defect Rectification facility for candidates who have applied for KEAM 2026 Medical & Medical Allied Courses. Candidates must verify their profile and rectify any application defects through the KEAM Candidate Portal before the deadline.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has started Fresh Online Applications for Medical & Medical Allied Courses under KEAM 2026. Existing KEAM applicants can also add Medical & Allied courses and update their NRI, Minority, EWS, and Category Claims through the Candidate Portal.
Important:Β Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates are eligible for Medical admissions. Candidates must upload all required supporting documents before the deadline, as no further opportunity will be provided by CEE Kerala.

Candidates who find any defects in their uploaded NRI documents must complete the correction process through the KEAM Candidate Portal before the deadline.
