The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura will organise the Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025 for admission to MBBS in Tripura, along with BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP courses under the 85% State Quota for the academic year 2025–26. The counselling will be held online through the official portal - CLICK HERE

According to the official notification, registration is scheduled to begin on July 30, 2025, and will close on August 3, 2025 (10 PM). Choice filling and locking will be available from July 31 to August 4, and the seat allotment result will be declared on August 6, 2025.

This counselling process is the sole authorised method for securing admission to government and private medical, dental, and AYUSH colleges in the state, making it the mandatory route for students aiming to pursue MBBS in Tripura.

Eligibility Criteria for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025

To participate in the counselling process, candidates must fulfil the following conditions:

• Must have qualified for NEET UG 2025 with the required percentile.
• Must be a domicile of Tripura or eligible under the state quota rules.
• Should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• Must be 17 years old on or before December 31, 2025.

Counselling Fees & Security Deposit

All candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling (registration) fee and a refundable security deposit as proof of participation. These payments are mandatory before the choice-filling stage.

After admissions, Govt‑college deposits are adjusted against fees or refunded if not admitted; for private, if a seat is accepted and withdrawn later, the deposit may be forfeited.

The Tripura NEET UG 2025 Counselling Registration Process is mandatory for admission to MBBS in Tripura. Students must register online at trmcc.admissions.nic.in to become eligible for choice filling, seat allotment, and admission in government and private medical colleges.

Step 1: Online Registration

Preview the uploaded documents to ensure the photograph and signature are clear and correctly placed. If necessary, re-upload them following the same procedure.

Step 4: Declaration and Final Submission

• Review all the entered details.
• If everything is correct, tick the ‘Declaration’ checkbox and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• After submission, an application/registration number will be generated, and you will receive an email and SMS with your application number and password. Keep this information for future reference.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

• Click on the provided link for fee payment.
• Follow the instructions to complete the payment using internet banking, debit card, or credit card.
• After successful payment, save the payment slip for reference.
• Note: The applicant is responsible for any bank charges or payment gateway charges. Ensure payment is made within the due date.

Counseling Process

Step 1: Registration

1. Visit the official website for Tripura NEET UG Counselling.
2. Look for the registration link and click on it.
3. Fill in your personal details and NEET UG details.
4. Verify the information and submit the registration form.

Step 2: Document Verification

• After registration, you will be notified about document verification.
• Attend the verification session at the designated centre with the required documents:

Step 5: Reporting to Allotted College

• If you accept the allotted seat, report to the respective college within the specified timeframe.
• Complete the admission formalities and pay the required admission fees.

Step 6: Upgradation (Optional)

• If you wish to upgrade your allotted seat, you can participate in the upgrade round.
• Follow the same process for choice filling and seat allotment.
