Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Requirements
   • Must have passed Class 12 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
   • General/OBC/EWS students: minimum 75% aggregate in PCM
   • SC/ST: minimum 65% aggregate (some sources mention 60%)
2. Entrance Test
   • Must clear JEE Main 2026 (best of two sessions)
3. Seat Allotment
   • Admission via JoSAA counselling, based on JEE Main rank, preferences, and availability
   • Seat matrix: 50% home-state, 50% other India; reservations as per Govt. norms (SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC-NCL 27%, EWS 10%, PwD 5%)

2. JoSAA & Choice Filling
   • After receiving the results, register on the JoSAA portal.

3. Seat Allotment Rounds
   • JoSAA conducts multiple rounds; seats allotted based on rank & choices.
   • Accept seat and pay acceptance fee (INR 35k gen, 15k for reserved/PwD)
4. Upload Documents & Verification
   • Upload scanned documents during JoSAA online reporting.
   • The Institute may raise queries—you must respond promptly or risk losing your seat
