CLAT 2026 Registration Process

Indeed, the process for registration for CLAT 2026 will be done online. Candidates must follow the steps below:

3.         You will need to register yourself by providing an email ID and mobile number.

4.         Fill in the personal, academic, and communication details.

5.         Upload the required documents (mentioned below).

6.         Pay the application fee through payment gateways.

7.         Click submit and download the confirmation page.

•          Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheet

•          Government Issued ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Passport/PAN, etc.)

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

There are various criteria for UG candidates to be eligible for CLAT 2026:

•          Eligibility Requirements for Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).

•          Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearance in CLAT 2026.

•          Candidates appearing in Class 12 in 2026: Students appearing in Class 12 are also eligible to apply.

CLAT Exam Format 2026

The CLAT UG 2026 will be conducted in offline mode and Exam will be on pen-paper based. Here is the Full exam structure:

CLAT Syllabus 2026

The CLAT syllabus 2026 tests candidates' understanding and reasoning skills along with legal aptitude. It will cover:

• English: Reading comprehension (including two comprehension passages), English grammar, vocabulary, and entrance based questions.

• Current Affairs & GK: National and international events, static GK, recent appointments and awards.

• Legal Reasoning: Legal principles stated in the questions, case laws, hypothetical legal situations and facts.

• Logical Reasoning: Arguments, conclusions, analogies, critical reasoning.

• Quantitative Techniques: Graphical representation, calculations, ratios, percentages and interpretation of data.

CLAT Exam Centres List 2026

The exam will take place across the country through several CLAT 2026 exam centres. Candidates will have to select their exam locations while filling the application form. The exact list of centres will be updated to the official website at the time of registration.
