The Trust started Sri Muthukumaran Medical college Hospital and Research Institute, Chikkarayapuram, Near Mangadu, Chennai-600 069 from the academic year 2023 with an annual intake of 150 students in MBBS Course with the approval of Medical Council of India and Central Government and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, this institute will fall under the category of Telugu Minority Institution.
Today the hospital and the Medical College at Chikkarayapuram are recognized as outstanding institutions and have won the appreciation of medical experts and administrators a like from the State and the Central Governments.
The College building consists of ground + 6 Floors with a built up area of 15600 sq.mts. All the Pre-clinical and Para clinical departments are accommodated in the College building. All the Departments are manned by experienced and dedicated faculty members fully confirming to the standards prescribed by the Medical Council of India.

Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital with 300 beds was established in the year 2007 as prerequisite for establishment of a Medical College. The Medical College in the name and style of Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Hospital & Research Institute was established in the year 2009 at Chikkarayapuram, Near Mangadu, Chennai – 69.This Institution is a non profit self financing Medical College under the category of linguistic Minority . This Medical College is affiliated to The TN Dr.MGR Medical University,Chennai. This Medical College has been approved by the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare , New Delhi for admission of 150 students from the academic year 2010-11 vide letter no.F.NO.U 12012/822/2008 – ME ( P – II ) dated 14 th May 2010.
