The Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) mode is designed for admission to dual degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria for UGEE 2026
To apply under UGEE 2026, candidates must satisfy the following:
Academic Requirement
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent
- Must have studied:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
Year of Passing Condition
Eligible:
- Candidates who passed Class 12 between 2023 and June 2026
Not Eligible:
- Candidates who passed in 2022 or earlier
Only candidates meeting the above criteria are eligible to apply.
UGEE 2026 Examination Structure
Applicants must appear for a computer-based entrance examination conducted by IIIT Hyderabad.

1. SBI Scholar Loan (Guaranteed Access)
The State Bank of India (IIIT Branch) guarantees an SBI Scholar Student Loan to any student who secures admission at IIIT Hyderabad.
Key Features:
- Loan amount: Up to ₹40 lakhs
- No security required
- Can be availed even if the applicant’s family has other existing loans
- Applicable to all admitted students
This ensures that admitted students can finance their education without collateral barriers.

2. Alumni-Supported Financial Assistance Fund
The alumni of IIIT Hyderabad have established a financial assistance fund to support admitted students based on need.

- Assistance begins from the second semester
