Eligibility For VITEEE 2027-28?

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed HSC/Class XII in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing for it in 2027. Candidates who passed Class XII in 2024 or earlier are not eligible. The qualifying exam must be completed in regular, full-time mode with English as a subject, from one recognized Board in a single academic year.

MPCEA (Maths stream): Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with not less than 50% in Mathematics. Eligible for all B.Tech programmes.

BPCEA (Biology stream): Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with not less than 50% in Biology. Eligible only for B.Tech Biotechnology (Vellore, Chennai, AP), CSE (Bioinformatics) and Health Sciences & Technology (Vellore), and Bioengineering, CSE (Health Informatics) and CSE (Education Technology) (Bhopal).

Relaxation: SC/ST candidates, and candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura), need a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Nationality: Resident Indian, NRI or OCI cardholder with a residential address in India. VITEEE is mandatory for B.Tech admission for Indian nationals.
