Candidates who qualify NEET UG 2026 and meet eligibility criteria will be able to register for Kerala state counselling via the CEE Kerala portal once registrations are open (tentatively July 2026). The counselling process generally includes option registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

The Kerala choice filling or option entry for NEET UG 2026 MBBS/BDS counselling is projected to start in July 2026, with Round 1 seat allotment expected in late July 2026. Students who receive allotments will need to report to the allotted colleges during July–August 2026. Subsequent rounds such as Round 2 and Mop-Up/Stray Vacancy rounds are expected to continue in August–September 2026, with the academic session beginning around October 2026.

Kerala NEET UG 2026 counselling is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in government and private medical colleges across the state. Candidates who qualify NEET UG 2026 and meet the domicile and eligibility criteria can participate in the online counselling process, which includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

Kerala NEET UG Counselling Security Deposit 2026

Eligibility Criteria of Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2026

To participate in Kerala NEET UG 2026 counselling, candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 and satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

Must qualify NEET UG 2026 with the required cutoff percentile.
Candidate must be a citizen of India. OCI candidates are also eligible as per Government of India norms.
Must satisfy Kerala domicile / nativity requirements for state quota seats. (Domicile is not mandatory for management/NRI quota seats in private colleges.)
Completion of Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board is mandatory.
Minimum qualifying marks in Class 12:
- General: 50%
- SC/ST/SEBC: 40%
- PwD (General): 45%
Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2026.
