Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2026 registration has been reopened by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, from June 18 to June 23, 2025 (12 noon). Only those candidates who have qualified NEET 2026 by securing the prescribed cutoff will be eligible to register. The reopened window allows candidates to edit or add category and quota details, including NRI and Minority quotas.

The initial registration for Kerala NEET UG 2026 started on 05.01.2026 , and the deadline was extended till 31.01.2026, 5.00 PM. , with document upload allowed till 07.02.2026, 5.00 PM. 

Kerala NEET counselling is held for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS) as well as B.Sc. Nursing across government and private colleges in Kerala. The process is open to candidates meeting the domicile and NEET eligibility criteria. CEE Kerala will release the state merit list based on NEET 2026 scores, and only those listed can participate in choice filling and seat allotment rounds.

Who is Eligible for Kerala NEET Counselling 2026?

• Must be Indian citizen (PIO/OCI eligible but not for reservations).
• Must qualify NEET UG 2026.
• Must have completed online registration on the CEE portal.
• Candidates are divided into:
  • Keralite: Domicile of Kerala or children of AIS officers posted in Kerala.
  • Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): Those who studied in Kerala or meet special conditions (Govt service, residency).
  • Non-Keralite Category II (NK II): Eligible only for Private Medical/Dental colleges under Management/NRI quota.

How to Apply for Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2026

Step-by-step Registration Process:

1. Visit the official portal: cee.kerala.gov.in
2. Click on ‘KEAM Online Application 2026’ and proceed to registration.
3. Fill personal, academic, and NEET details.
4. Upload documents:
   • Photograph: 150x200 px (15-100 KB)
   • Signature: 150x100 px (10-100 KB)
5. Pay the application fee

• Log into KEAM candidate portal
• Click on ‘NEET Result Submission’
• Enter NEET Roll No, App No, DOB
• Verify and confirm details
• Download and save submission receipt

Kerala NEET Merit List 2026

CEE Kerala will release the State Merit List online containing:

• Candidate’s name
• NEET score
• NEET All India Rank
• State rank

Only candidates listed in the Kerala NEET merit list 2026 will be eligible for counselling and seat allotment.

1. Option Registration

• Login to candidate portal
• Choose Option Registration
• Add preferred colleges/courses
• Pay option registration fee of ₹5,000 (refundable deposit)

2. Centralised Allotment Process (CAP)

• Round-wise seat allotment based on rank, preferences, and reservation.
• Seat allotment result will be published online.

3. Seat Confirmation & Reporting

• Download Allotment Memo
• Report to allotted college with documents
• Pay fees and complete admission formalities
