The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling is expected to begin in August 2025, shortly after the declaration of NEET UG results. The counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra and is applicable for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other allied courses in government, private, and minority colleges across the state.

Except for the final round (institute-level reporting and document verification), the entire counselling process is conducted online via the official portal: cetcell.net.in/NEET-UG-2025.

Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 is conducted for admission under the state quota seats in government, corporation, government-aided, and all quota seats in private/minority colleges in Maharashtra. Only candidates who qualify NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate. Through this process, over 9,000 MBBS and 3,526 BDS seats will be filled in the state.

 Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025 – Schedule

The exact counselling schedule will be announced by CET CELL soon after NEET 2025 results. It will include:

Before registering, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Should have qualified NEET UG 2025
• Must have passed Class 10 from a Maharashtra-based institute
  (or, if passed Class 10 from outside Maharashtra, must have passed Class 12 from Maharashtra and hold a valid domicile certificate)
• Must meet NEET qualifying cutoff scores

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025 – Step-by-Step Process

1. Registration Process

• Visit the official website of CET CELL NEET UG 2025
• Click on “New Registration” and enter details like NEET Roll Number, Application Number, DOB, mobile number, and email
• Verify via OTP, create a login account, and fill personal and academic details
• Upload required documents (max file size: 300 KB)
• Pay the application fee and save a printout of the confirmation page

2. Application Processing Fee

Keep a copy of the fee receipt, filled application form, and information brochure for future reference.

3. Provisional Merit List

After verification of documents, CET CELL releases a provisional merit list containing the names of eligible candidates.

4. Seat Matrix

Before choice filling, the course-wise seat matrix is published, which guides candidates on the number of seats available in each college and category.

5. Choice Filling

Candidates in the merit list can log in and fill preferences for courses and colleges. Preferences once submitted cannot be changed, so choose wisely.

6. Seat Allotment Result

CET CELL releases the seat allotment result round-wise in PDF format. Candidates must search for their NEET Roll Number to check allotment status.

7. Reporting to Allotted Institute

Once a seat is allotted, candidates must report physically to the allotted college within the deadline, or resign to participate in the next round.

Candidates must carry original documents along with photocopies during the verification round at the allotted institute.
