🎓 MBBS Admissions Through DTE Nagaland
The cut-off for MBBS admission under the Nagaland State Reserved Seats is determined solely based on NEET (UG) scores of candidates selected through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Nagaland. MBBS seat allotment depends on several factors:
- NEET (UG) score
- Tribe category of the candidate
- Reservation provisions notified by the Government of Nagaland
- Availability of seats from multiple sources
🏛 MBBS Seat Sources
MBBS seats allotted to Nagaland candidates originate from three main sources:
- Government of India Central Pool
- North Eastern Council (NEC) quota
- Nagaland State quota at Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR), Kohima
In 2025, a total of 152 candidates were selected for MBBS admission through the Nagaland allocation list.
📊 Overall NEET Score Range (2025-26 session)
The range of NEET marks among selected candidates provides a clear indication of the admission cut-off:
- Highest NEET Score: 486
- Lowest NEET Score: 219
The highest score of 486 marks was secured by a candidate belonging to the Chakhesang tribe, who was allotted a seat at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi through the Government of India Central Pool.
The lowest score of 219 marks was secured by a candidate belonging to the Sumi (Kiphire) tribe, who received a seat at NIMSR Kohima under the Backward Tribe reservation.
Thus, the overall NEET score range for MBBS admission through the Nagaland allocation list extended from 486 to 219 marks.
