The counselling schedule for NEET UG 2025 has been released. There is Two Types of NEET Counselling for UG Medical Programmes in India 

1. All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling

• Conducted by MCC
• Covers 15% of seats in government medical and dental colleges (except J&K)
• Includes seats in:
  • Deemed Universities
  • Central Universities (e.g., BHU, AMU, Delhi University)
  • AIIMS, JIPMER
  • ESIC and AFMC (AFMC has a separate screening process after counselling)

2. State Quota Counselling

• Conducted by respective state counselling authorities
• Covers 85% of state government college seats
• Includes state private medical/dental colleges
• Eligibility often includes domicile, state residency, and NEET qualification
