Rajasthan has 3,857 postgraduate and super-speciality medical seats for the academic year 2026–27, according to the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) seat matrix. The matrix includes MD, MS, Diploma, DM and MCh seats across medical colleges in the state.
Among the major postgraduate branches, MD General Medicine has the highest intake with 373 seats, followed by MD Anaesthesiology with 364 seats.

The NMC's national PG seat matrix includes 63,177 MD, MS, Diploma, DM and MCh seats for the 2026–27 academic session.
The NMC has also clarified that the published matrix does not include applications that were still pending for increase in intake of existing PG courses or commencement of new PG courses. Such seats may be reflected in subsequent updates after approval.
