Eligibility Criteria:

o    NEET Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for the NEET UG exam and secured the minimum required percentile.

o    Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year.

o    Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their 12th grade with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

o    Nationality: Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, OCI/PIO cardholders are eligible.

Domicile Criteria:

o    The candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra and possess a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate, or

o    The candidate’s parents must have been residing in Maharashtra for a certain number of years, or

o    Children of Maharashtra residents or central government employees posted in Maharashtra are also eligible.

Registration Process:

o    Step 1: Visit the official Maharashtra CET Cell website.

o    Step 2: Fill in the registration form with personal, academic, and NEET details.

o    Step 3: Upload necessary documents (ID proof, photographs, marksheets, etc.).

o    Step 4: Pay the registration fee online and submit the form.

Steps of Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling Rounds

o    Round 1:

    Online registration and choice filling.

    Seat allotment based on preferences and merit.

    Document verification at designated centres.

o    Round 2:

    If required, the second round begins with another choice filling and seat allotment process.

    Candidates can modify their preferences if necessary.

o    Mop-up Round:

    Conducted for remaining seats after rounds 1 and 2.

    If a candidate does not secure a seat in previous rounds, they can participate in this round.

Registration Fees:
