Eligibility Criteria

To secure admission in MBBS in Deemed Universities, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1.    Academic Qualification: Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG 2024.

2.    Minimum Marks:

o    General category: 50th percentile

o    SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

3.    Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible.

4.    Age Limit: The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.

Counselling Process for MBBS Deemed University

The admission process for MBBS in Deemed Universities is conducted through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the All India Quota (AIQ). Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the counselling process: 

1. Online Registration:

o    Visit the official MCC website.

o    Register using basic details and NEET-UG roll number.

o    Pay the required counselling fee.

2.    Choice Filling & Locking:

o    Fill in your preferred choices of Deemed Universities.

o    Lock your choices before the deadline.

3.    Seat Allotment Process:

o    MCC conducts seat allotment based on NEET-UG scores, preferences, and seat availability.

o    Download the allotment letter after the result is published.

4.    Reporting to Allotted College:

o    Report to the allotted MBBS Deemed University within the specified timeframe.

o    Complete document verification and pay the admission fee.

5.    Subsequent Rounds:

o    MCC conducts multiple rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

o    Unfilled seats are carried forward to subsequent rounds.
