NBEMS Releases Application Form for Post MBBS Diploma Courses, Deadline is March 30, 2025

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially released the application form for Post MBBS Diploma courses for the January/February 2025 cycle. Candidates interested in applying for these prestigious diploma courses can start submitting their applications from February 7, 2025, with the final submission deadline set for March 30, 2025. This is a crucial opportunity for medical professionals looking to further their expertise in specialized medical fields.

Post MBBS Diploma Courses Offered

NBEMS is offering a wide range of Post MBBS two-year diploma courses across various medical specialties. These diploma programs provide in-depth training and a strong foundation in clinical practice, preparing candidates for higher responsibilities in the healthcare sector. 

NBEMS offers Post MBBS two-year diploma courses in the following broad specialties:

  • Anesthesiology
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • Paediatrics
  • Family Medicine
  • Ophthalmology
  • Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
  • Radio Diagnosis
  • Tuberculosis & Chest Disease
  • Emergency Medicine

Hospitals, medical institutions, and medical colleges are invited to apply for accreditation in these specialties. The application process is open for:

  1. Fresh applications for accreditation
  2. Renewal of accreditation for departments whose current accreditation is valid until December 2025.

Applications must be submitted online through the Online Accreditation Application Portal (OAAP) on the NBEMS website. After submitting the online application, hospitals or institutions must send the signed and stamped hard copy of the application to the NBEMS office by the deadline.

Applicants are advised to ensure that their application forms contain accurate and complete information. Any incomplete or incorrect submissions may cause delays or result in rejection.

 The eligibility criteria for Post MBBS Diploma courses:

  1. Must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college/institution.
  2. Must have completed the mandatory one-year internship before applying.
  3. No specific age limit (check with the institution if applicable).
  4. Must be an Indian citizen or meet the eligibility criteria for foreign candidates.
  5. Must meet the minimum marks requirement set by the institution or NBEMS.
  6. Some specialties may require additional qualifications or work experience.
  7. If you have an MBBS degree from a foreign university, you must meet the criteria set by MCI or NMC, which may include clearing FMGE.
  8. Some specialties may require clinical experience in a related field.
  9. Check for any additional eligibility criteria for specific medical institutions or specialties.
