How the CLAT UG 2025 Counselling Process Works
The CLAT UG 2025 Counselling Schedule consists of three rounds. Eligible candidates must register online, pay the counselling registration fee, and indicate their preference of NLUs.
Candidates will be offered seats based on their CLAT 2025 rank, category, and chosen preferences. During each round, students can choose to:
• Freeze their seat (accept and stop participating in further rounds)
• Float (wait for a better preferred college while retaining the current seat)
Those who select Freeze must pay the balance university fee by the deadline. Failure to do so will be treated as opting out, and the confirmation fee will be forfeited after a deduction of ₹5,000.
Candidates can look back at the CLAT 2023 counseling date to understand how the timeline has evolved and better plan their 2025 admissions.
Instructions and Tips
• Keep all required documents ready for verification at the allotted NLU.
• Pay all fees promptly as per the CLAT UG 2025 Counselling Schedule to secure your seat.
• Discrepancies in document submission can lead to admission rejection.
