This crucial timeline determines the process for securing a seat in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs across various institutions in India. Understanding these dates is essential for candidates to navigate the admission process smoothly and ensure they don’t miss any important deadlines.

In this article, Bodmas Education provides a detailed overview of the Dental Counselling Dates for 2024, along with essential information about the entire counselling process.

1. Introduction to Dental Counselling 2024

Dental Counselling is a structured process that involves several rounds, each with specific deadlines and procedures. These dates are announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and by state authorities for state quota seats. Missing any of these key dates can jeopardize a candidate’s chances of securing a seat, making it imperative to stay informed.

Importance of Staying Updated

1. Timely Registration: Missing the registration window means disqualification from the counselling process.
2. Preparation: Knowing the counselling dates in advance allows candidates to prepare necessary documents, arrange finances, and plan for travel if required.
3. Decision Making: Understanding the timeline helps candidates make informed decisions about choice filling and seat acceptance.
4. Overview of Dental Counselling Process 2024

Before diving into the specific dates, it’s essential to understand the overall process of Dental Counselling 2024. The process typically includes the following stages:

Once a seat is allotted, candidates must undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility. This step is crucial as any discrepancy can lead to disqualification.
