The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is the primary examination for admission, and here are the key dates to note:

IISER 2025 Application Fee
The application fee must be paid when submitting the application form. The application fee is non-refundable.

Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)
After receiving an offer of admission, candidates must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) as per their category:

Failure to pay the SAF within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the offer. The SAF will be adjusted against the first semester fee once the candidate registers at the IISER.
IISER Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission through the IISER Aptitude Test 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Nationality: Indian nationals, OCI/PIO/Foreign nationals can apply.
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed their Class XII (or equivalent) with a science stream (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Physics) from a board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.
• Age Criteria: Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000. However, there is a five-year age relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates (born on or after October 1, 1995).
• Minimum Marks:
General category: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Class XII.
SC/ST/PwD category: Minimum 55% marks in aggregate in Class XII.
How to Apply for IISER 2025
1. Visit the IISER Official Website: Go to the official IISER admission portal.
2. Register for the IISER Application Form 2025: Create a user account and fill in your details.
3. Submit the Application: Complete the form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee.
4. Verify Details: After submission, review the form and make any necessary corrections during the correction window (April 21-22, 2025).
5. Download Hall Ticket: Admit cards will be released on May 15, 2025.
6. Appear for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT): The exam will take place on May 25, 2025, at various centers across India.
