Breaking News: NEET UG 2025 Registration Begins, Exam Scheduled for May 4, 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened registrations for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025. Aspiring medical students across the country can now apply online for the exam, which is set to take place on 4 May, 2025. NEET UG serves as the gateway for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses in various medical institutions in India.
The registration form for NEET UG became available on February 7, 2025, and the last date to register for NEET UG is March 7, 2025 till 11:50 PM.
According to the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET UG exam is required for admission to undergraduate medical courses. This exam ensures that there is a common and fair way of selecting students across the country. NEET UG is also necessary for admission to courses like BDS (Dentistry), BVSc & AH (Veterinary Science), and AYUSH courses like BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS.
Additionally, students who want to join the B.Sc. Nursing program in Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) hospitals must also pass NEET UG 2025.

The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST). The exam will be held in a pen-and-paper mode across various designated centers in India and abroad. Candidates will have a total of 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the test.
NEET UG 2025 Exam will be held in 13 languages
Languages Available NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

NEET UG Admit Card and Exam Centers
Candidates can download their admit cards from the NTA website by May 1, 2025. The allotted exam center details will be mentioned on the admit card. The city intimation slip will be available by April 26, 2025.
NEET UG Answer Key and Result Declaration
After the exam, NTA will release recorded responses and the official answer key for candidates to verify their answers. The final result of NEET UG 2025 is tentatively scheduled to be declared by June 14, 2025.
How to Apply for the NEET UG 2025 Exam?
- Applications must be submitted online via the official NTA website: https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
- Candidates should upload recent passport-sized photographs, scanned signatures, and valid address proof while filling out the application form.
- Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
- Ensure that the registered mobile number and email ID are valid and accessible for all official communications from NTA.
