Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Goa, to establish the country’s largest hospitality skilling centre. The initiative aims to enhance employment opportunities for youth in the tourism sector, strengthening Goa’s position as a leading travel destination. The signing ceremony was graced by Honourable Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant, along with senior officials including Mr. Prasad Lolayekar, IAS, Secretary of Education and Skills Development, and Mr. S S Gaonkar, Director of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, Goa.

A Vision for Hospitality Excellence

The hospitality skilling centre will offer specialized training programs tailored to meet the evolving demands of the industry. Additionally, the centre will provide internship opportunities in corporate environments, ensuring practical exposure and job readiness.
