Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3: Registration, Choice Filling & Seat Allotment Dates
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the notification for Round 3 of Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. admissions. The notification, dated 30 September 2026, invites eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates to participate in Round 3 online counselling.
The counselling will be conducted for seats available after completion of Round 2 counselling, including government and private medical and dental colleges, government veterinary and fisheries colleges in Bihar.

Bihar NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2026: Important Dates
According to the official notification, the Round 3 schedule is as follows:

Who Can Participate in Round 3?
BCECEB has invited qualified and eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates who have not registered earlier or those who registered but did not complete the application and required fee/security deposit process.
Candidates must also not be admitted to any medical or dental college in India through another counselling process. Candidates who have already joined a seat through AIQ up to Round 3 are not eligible for Bihar UGMAC Round 3.
Colleges Covered Under Bihar UGMAC Round 3
The counselling covers government and private institutions.
Government medical colleges listed in the notification include Patna Medical College, IGIMS Patna, Darbhanga Medical College, Nalanda Medical College, ANM Medical College Gaya, JLNMCH Bhagalpur, SKMCH Muzaffarpur, Government Medical College Bettiah, BMIMS Pawapuri, Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Medical College Madhepura, ESIC Medical College Bihta, Government Medical College Purnea, Sriram Janki Medical College Samastipur and Government Medical College Chapra.
The notification also lists Patna Dental College, Bihar Veterinary College, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Kishanganj and College of Fisheries Kishanganj.
Private medical colleges include institutions such as Katihar Medical College, Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College, Narayan Medical College, Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College, Madhubani Medical College, Netaji Subhash Medical College, Shri Narayan Medical Institute, RDJM Medical College, Himalaya Medical College, Mahabodhi Medical College, SCMC & SPN Hospital, Virat Institute of Medical Science and others.
Bihar NEET UG Round 3 Registration Fee
Candidates participating in Round 3 have to pay the applicable counselling fee and security deposit online.

Choice Filling and Locking
After successful payment, candidates have to fill their preferred courses and colleges in order of preference. Candidates should save their choices and complete choice locking before 9 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Round 3 Seat Allotment
Bihar UGMAC Round 3 allotment will be conducted on a merit-cum-choice basis. Candidates who receive a seat must upload clear scanned copies of the required original documents for online verification before downloading the provisional allotment order.
Candidates receiving an MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. seat in Round 3 must report physically to the allotted institute within the prescribed period with their original documents.
NRI Candidates
Candidates seeking admission under the NRI quota have to select the NRI category during registration and upload the prescribed documents. These include the NEET scorecard, passport, NRI certificate and required affidavit/sponsorship documents.
Candidates converting from Indian to NRI category are required to submit additional documents relating to the legal guardian and NRI sponsorship. Original documents will have to be produced during document verification.
